Board member of the Academic Sports Association Zurich

The Academic Sports Association Zurich (ASVZ) is the institution for university sports in Zurich, which has been in existence since 1939. As an inter-university service provider, the ASVZ offers a comprehensive and varied sports programme for students and employees of Zurich’s universities, in particular ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, which also support the association financially.

A member of the VSETH (Association of Students at the ETH) is also represented on the ASVZ Board. I specifically represent the interests and needs of ETH Zurich students and (hopefully) help to ensure that the ASVZ offers an attractive sports programme for all students. The ASVZ Board deals with strategic decisions as well as medium and long-term planning.

The ASVZ sees sport as a source of enjoyment, animation, professional guidance, training and counselling. As a non-profit organisation, the ASVZ offers a low-cost range of services and is involved in sports animation and training in order to promote lifelong sporting activity.

In addition to popular sports, the ASVZ also supports competitive and competitive sports and represents Zurich’s universities at national and international level. It also supports 23 member clubs that either offer competitive and competitive sports in various disciplines or expand the ASVZ’s sports programme with additional sports and activities.

The ASVZ provides a contemporary environment for popular sports and promotes social contacts through sport and games. As a customer-orientated company, ASVZ attaches great importance to feedback and is constantly striving to improve and develop its services. As an employer, ASVZ favours an enlightened and cooperative approach to its employees and encourages personal responsibility and commitment.
